Review the resources with your child in the way that suits them. Discuss check-in, security and boarding before the day of travel. Use familiar words or pictures where helpful.
Pearson also offers Sunflower lanyards for people with non-visible disabilities. The lanyard signals that someone may need extra time or support. It does not replace supervision or confirm that every requested service is available. Ask the airline separately about help during the flight and connections.
How can you plan visits in Makkah and Madinah
Choose a manageable first outing rather than filling the day with every possible visit. Learn the hotel route, available facilities and the way back. Follow staff directions about access and equipment.
Keep the child’s identification and your contact information accessible in a suitable form. Agree who watches the child during transitions, including when adults are dealing with bags, tickets or prayer arrangements.
Ask directly about any childcare service you hope to use. Confirm its age rules, registration, opening times and whether staff can meet your child’s needs. A service listed for visitors does not prove that it provides specialist care.
